Chinese American Librarians Association Mid-West Chapter's annual meeting on June 1
Chinese American Librarians Association Mid-West Chapter will hold its annual conference at the Chicago Circle Center (CCC), University of Illinois at Chicago on Friday, June 1. The central theme is "Our Legacy, Our Future: Be Successful Chinese American Librarians". Dr. Hwa-Wei Lee, dean emeritus of Ohio University Libraries, will be the keynote speaker on "Repositioning Libraries for the Future: From Information Management to Knowledge Management."
Panel discussions on challenges and opportunities follow. Sandra Balderrama, Jaipeng Li, Junlin Pan, and Bing Yu serve as panelists. Afternoon session is group discussion consisting of CJK/OCLA, Internaitonal Exchange/Global collaboration, CORC, and E-skills@My Library.
