Mr. Lin Yang and his father, Mr. De Cai Yang, were arrested and later released because of ticketing incident at Flushing, Queens, New York on Saturday, August 17. Lin Yang doubly parked his car and was ticketed. In arguing with a policewoman for ticketing, Yang was alleged to hold her hands and thought to resist ticketing. Her companion, another policeman, attacked Lin Yang and his father and called in backup. Both Yang Lin and his father were arrested but later released. They are charged with resisting arrest, blocking law enforcement, and disorder conduct. Ms. Jun Qiu, Yang's wife, claimed that Mr. Lin Yang never touched the policewoman's hand. Some bystanders who eye witnessed the incident, complained that the police over used their force. Ms. Qiu wishes those bystanders stand up as witnesses. The case is now handled by Yang's lawyer, Frank R. Liu.
