Frank H. Wu is now touring nationally with his new book, Yellow: Race in America Beyond Black and White (Boulder, Colo.: Perseus Book Group, 2001). The book addresses some of the most controversial contemporary issues: discrimination, immigration, diversity, globalization, and the mixed-race movement, introducing the example of Asian Americans to shed new light on the current debates. Mr. Wu is associate professor at Howard University School of Law.in Washington, D.C.. He co-authored a textbook, Race, Rights and Reparation: Law and the Japanese American Internment (Aspen, 2001) and has published more than 200 articles.
He currently writes a column for A. Magazine. He has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show, Lehrer Newshour, CNN, MS-NBC, Fox, BET, BBC Radio and Voice of America. His tour will last three months, from January 9 to April 6. It starts in Washington, D.C. and includes Dayton (Ohio), Columbus (Ohio), Seattle, Washington, San Francisco, Palo Alto (California), Berkeley (California), Pasadena (California), Santa Monica (California), New York City, Cleveland, Parkersburg (West Virginia), Akron (Ohio), Boston, South Royalton (Vermont), New York City, Philadelphia, Charlottesville (Virginia), Chapel Hill (North Carolina), Pittsburgh, and Chicago.
