Chinese have joined the main stream in running long distance bus services since the 1990s. Chinese bus companies began their services irregularly and now is running on a regular basis from Boston, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Their prices are unbelievably law as compared with Greyhound's. From Chinatown in New York to Philadelphia and other cities, prices are:
To Philadelphia. One way: $6; round trip: $10.
To Washington, D.C.: one way: $10; round trip $15.
To Virginia State. One way: $40; round trip: $60.
To Boston: One way, $15; round trip $25.
Reported World Journal (July 20), Boston is one of the first cities to have Chinese bus company. From Boston to New York and vice versa, the bus runs fifteen times a day from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
