The Chan's Journalism and Culture Foundation will present this year's award to four journalists on July 8 at the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association in Chinatown, New York. The four recipients are: Jen-ming Cheng, professor at the Chinese Culture University in Taipei; Je Yu, free-lance writer; Ming Chang, Asian Television in D.C. anchorwoman; and The-hui Wang, editor of the Freedom forum. Mr. Cheng is a tenured professor who has devoted to journalism education for more than 40 years. The Chinese Culture University Alumni Association in New York host a dinner in honor of Professor Cheng at the Great Neck Restaurant in Long Island on July 7.
