Chinatown Museum Foundation will host its first fund-raising benefit

The Chinatown Museum Foundation will host its first fund-raising benefit dinner at Furama Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown, on Saturday, December 7. This event will feature a 9-course Cantonese dinner, a glimpse of the Foundation's collection, a historical fashion show, a Shaolin martial art demonstration and Shaolin history, and other educational entertainments. The Foundation's mission is to establish and maintain a museum in Chicago's Chinatown for the purpose of promoting research on and education about Chinese American history and culture, and exhibiting these subjects to the general public.
