Guo Rui married Camille Colvin and later divorced. They have a son, Griffin. Mr. Guo took his son, 5, in New York City to Zhengzhou in China. After a three month search, Ms. Colvin, now 35, has found her son and went to China. Mr. Guo and Ms. Colvin met in a hotel to solve their dispute of custody. Guo Rui was charged on October 8 by the U.S. Attorney with international parental kidnaping.
Ms. Colvin is returning to the United States with her son after she gave money to her ex-husband. "It's been an extremely, extremely stressful situation," said she during a brief news conference called to thank Chinese and U.S. officials for helping resolve the case.
