Irene Cualoping will join the national publication AsianWeek as a freelance photojournalist effective September 1, 2003. She will be filing story ideas, calendar items and photos of interest, initially as "Specials to AsianWeek."
AsianWeek Founded in 1979 and based in San Francisco, California, is the only English language, national news weekly for Asian Pacific Americans. It currently has a circulation of 50,000 and a readership of 175,000 throughout the country. It is available nationally by mail subscription, and by free distribution in geographic and demographic areas of density through newsstands and in-store locations in several Bay Area (California) counties.
