The Li Educational Foundation begins to accept applications for grants, until May 31, 2003. It has announced its application guidelines noted below:
The Li Educational Foundation is a family supported foundation intended to promote, advance, and develop Chinese history, culture, and education. It awards grants from $500 to $10,000 each year.
Grants are awarded to non-profit organizations only. No individual is eligible to apply. There is no specific application. However, each applicant should provide:
(1) Name and address of the organization
(2) Name and address of the person in charge.
(3) Purpose of the project for a grant.
(4) Description of the project for a grant
(5) Commencement and completion of the project.
(6) Execution procedure of the project.
(7) Expected result of completion of the project.
(8) Amount of grant.
Grants will be announced in October 2003.
