ASSNY presents a series of programs


The Association of Students and Scholars (ASSNY) in New York has presented a serious of programs. On Sunday, July 6, lectures were presented in memory of July 7 Anti-Japanese War in China. The meeting was held at the Mount Sinai Hospital at 1468 Madison Avenue in New York. On Friday, July 11, ASSNY will hold a seminar on China's Prospect and Overseas Chinese Processionals' Roles in China's Growth into 21st Century and presented a New Chinese movie, followed by dance at the Asian Culture Center, 10 Eat 40th Street, New York City. Dr. Zhongwu Gong will be a keynote speaker. Dr. Gong, holding a doctorate in history from Harvard University, taught at Boston College and worked at the United Nations. He is a renowned scholar specializing in Chinese modern history.
