Japanese Biochemical Warfare Exhibit Tour starts in Chicago


The "Japanese Biochemical Warfare Exhibit Tour" tour starts from July 23 through August 12, covering Chicago (7/25, 26), St. Louis (7/27 - 29), New York (7/31 - 8/2), Washington, D.C. (8/3 - 8/6), San Francisco (8/7 - 8/9), and Los Angeles (8/10 - 8/12). The exhibit is intended to expose the Imperial Japanese biochemical warfare program (Unit 731) during 1942 to 1944. The impact and suffering of victims in some effected region - Zhejiang, Hunan, Yunnan, the Rotten Leg Village in Zhejiang. In Zhejiang province alone, more that a quarter of a million people died as the result of Japanese army deployed the deadly WMD along the Zhe-Gan Railroad line with bubonic plague, anthrax and typhoid. The Japanese retaliation attack after Chinese peasants rescued 64 American pilots after the Doolittle raid of Tokyo in 1942. The exhibit includes one "background" poster on the Japanese Biochemical Warfare Program (Unit731), two specifically on germ warfare and one on chemical warfare and statistics, three on regional effects (namely Zhejiang, Hunan and Yunnan), six posters of Rotten Leg Villagers,. The first exhibit in U.S. will be held on Saturday, July 26 at China Star Television, 2210 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago. (Tel.:312-842-8944).

.A delegation from Zhejiang, Hunan, and Beijing will present the on-going investigation of Japanese WMD impact in China and the lawsuit in Japan. The delegation consists of Professor Yang Wanzhu, Director of the Institute for Japanese Germ Warfare Research; Ms Wang Xuan, Chair of the Germ Warfare Litigation Team in Japan; Ms Chen Yufang & Mr. Wang Yixin, Chair and Vice Chair of ChangDe Investigation Committee on Japanese Germ Warfare; Ms Guo Lingmei, Producer-Director of China Central TV System.
