Woman Warrior Festival a bi-annual event celebrating the accomplishments of women of Asian and Pacific Islander descent through the thematic presentation of lectures, panel discussions and workshops, as well as artistic problems in the visual, performing, literary, and media arts. The 2003 festival will be presented by The Center for Asian Media, Columbia College Chicago on June 20-27. Its program consists of (1) June 20: a full-day conference on woman warrior; Asian Women Cinema; (2) June 24: performance poetry, concert; (3) June 27: exhibit opening reception. The exhibit will last one month, from June 27 to July 26, 2003.
