Internationally renowned composer for opera, orchestra, and chamber music, Bright Sheng traces the highlights of his rising career with musical references to current and new work, including his latest opera, Silver River, a collaboration with librettist David Henry Hwang. Bright Sheng and friends will perform on Sunday, April 6 at Fullerton Hall, The Art Institute of Chicago. The event is co-sponsored with the Center for Asian Art and Media, Columbia College.
