Bright Sheng's The Song and Dance of Tears (Tone Poem for Pipa, Sheng, Cello, Piano, and Orchestra) will be performed on March 5-8 at the Avery Fisher Hall, New York Philharmonic, in New York. David Zinman conducts with YoYo Ma (Cello), Emanuel Ax (Piano), Wu Man (debut, Pipa), and Wu Tong (debut, Sheng).
