Benjamin Lan, American citizen in San Francisco, and Sung Gang, citizen of New Zealand, both were born in China, entered to China. They were detained for alleged support of China Federation Foundation, a dissident organization aiming at overthrowing the Communist regime. A spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry said that they received support from some hostile organizations and came to China for terrorist activities. (Source: The New York Times, May 28, 2003).
