The newspaper Sing Tao expanded on the AP story on Krtrina Leung spy case Sunday, May 10, and asks rhetorically, "How will the Leung case end?" Sing Tao describes the case as "loud thunder, but light rain", not dissimilar with "bare bones indictment" & "small case making big headlines" used in the AP article. Sing Tao also quoted Assemblywoman Judy Chu asking why the FBI (i.e. Smith) always showing up at Katrina's parties and functions (if she's not closely supervised)? Don't forget that everything she allegedly gave to the Chinese came from the FBI. Sing Tao also says the Chinese has long known that Katrina worked for the FBI and a news media personality had made a semi public statement that Katrina was an FBI informant long before her arrest. Sing Tao implies that it would take quite a bit of evidence to convict Katrina as the government would have to prove intent. With Katrina wanted out and the FBI won't let her, it is difficult to prove intent, according to experts quoted by Sing Tao. (Guy M. Wong).
