The most recent ALA Office for Accreditation Annual Report found that "while the pace of change in most categories remains similar to last year, the largest change from 2004 to 2003 is in minority enrollment." Only 18 schools reported increases in minority enrollment in 2004, while 23 schools reported decreases. In 2003, 34 schools reported increases, compared to 14 reporting decreases.
Minority Enrollment Data for minority enrollment include the following categories of students: American Indian/Alaskan Native; Asian/Pacific Islanders; Black, non-Hispanic; and Hispanic. International students are not included in these figures. The seven Canadian programs do not collect or report information on ethnic origin of students.
