Dr. James Tien, a member of the US National Academy of Engineering, is leading a charge to make history and become the first Asian President of IEEE. Although he did well in the election last year, unfortunately he came in only the second. A petition is currently underway to nominate Dr. Tien as a candidate, again this year. He needs 3,000 signatures now. 80-20 urges IEEE members to support Tien's candidacy. Visit Dr. Tien's web site at http://www.jimtien.com to view his credentials.
The petition form needs to be signed by IEEE members and returned to him, directly, at the
address indicated on the form.
