Mrs United States.Dr. Chiann Fan Gibson, the daughter of Taiwanese parents, was born in Tokyo, Japan. With less than $200.00 and 3 children under the age of 3, her parents immigrated to the United States. In receiving a Merit Scholarship to Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Chiann obtained her Doctorate in Dentistry and has practiced 10 years. By specializing in Cosmetic Dentistry, Chiann finds great comfort in helping her patients restore self-confidence through their improved smiles. She often speaks on the importance of Oral Health Care and Wellness, and has provided free dental care for underprivileged families through state assisted programs.
Chiann is married to Jim Gibson, an Award winning television host and businessman. They reside in Aurora, Illinois and are active in their local church and Christian School. Chiann also assists Jim in helping produce "Fight for Children, Inc.," a televised charity event in Washington DC, that has raised more than 30 million dollars over the past 15 years.
