In honor of movie stars Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Chow Yun-Fat, China has issued a commemorative stamp collection marking 100 years of Chinese cinema. The collection was officially launched by the Chinese postal service at a ceremony in Beijing August 29 attended by Chinese actor Yu Xiang and actress Ning Jing.
The stamps also salute famous Chinese films including "Fists of Fury,""Hero,""Farewell My Concubine" and "Infernal Affairs." The stamps bear production shots of the stars and come with brief biographies. (Source: AP, San Francisco Chronicle, August 31, 2005).
