Yao's parents , Yao Zhiyuan and Fang Feng Di, open the Yao Restaurant and Bar, a $1.5 million venture, on the west side of Houston, about three miles from Houston's Chinatown. They both are former members of China's national teams. Three 70-inch televisions are installed in the bar so fans can watch Yao play/.
