Chinese Voice AM1480 (or simultaneous broadcast on the web at http://www.wsds1480.com, using "Plugin", 11 a.m. to noon, Eastern time, this Sunday, March 27) will interview Ms. LUAN Bo, the coach of the 2004 pair skating champions of the Asia Figure Skating Games. Luan Bo was the first partner of YAO Bin. Together they won many pair skating champions in China in the 1980's. (Yao Bin coaches the pair who won third place on March 16 in Moscow for the World Skating Champion show.)
Luan Bo will talk about the history and current status of pair skating in China. REN Zhongfei, the visiting Champion, will talk about his observation of skaters in Ann Arbor, and the potential among young Chinese skaters.
