Dr. K. L. Catherine Jen has been appointed Chair of the Department of Nutrition and Food Science at Wayne State University. Dr. Jen received her B.S. degree from National Taiwan University and M.A. (1975) and Ph.D.(1977), both from Wayne State University. She did her post-graduate work at the Institute of Human Nutrition, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, 1977-78, and the Department of Physiology, School of Medicine, University of Michigan, 1978-1979.
Dr. Jen is currently professor, Department of Nutrition and food Science and director of M.A. in Multidisciplinary. She has taught courses in Nutrition through the Life Cycle, Nutrition and Physical Performance, and Research Methodology in Nutrition and Food Science, and conducted Seminar in Nutrition and Food Science
