At the monthly meeting of the U.S.-China Friendship Association, Chicago, Dr. Tze-chung Li will speak on "The One China Policy and China's Recent anti-Secession Act," at luncheon, House of Fortune, Chicago, May 15. His presentation consists of six topics: (1) where is Taiwan? (2) the legal status of Taiwan; (3) the one China principle; (4) U.S. policy on the Taiwan issue; (5) the anti-Secession Law; and (6) the impact of the Anti-Secession Act.
Dr. Li, as noted in The Dragon's Eye, an official organ of the Association, is "a former official of the Taiwanese [Chinese] government, Harvard Law School graduate and Professor and Dean Emeritus, Dominican University, who is also active on the One China Committee."
