Garrett Wong appointed to SF Superior Court


Governor Arnold Schwarzeneggernamed attorney Garrett Wong to the San Francisco Superior Court.

Garrett Wong, 50, who will succeed retired Judge Alex Saldamando, sworn in on Sep. 30, starts work in the civil division on October 3. He will be the fifth APA of over 50 judges in a city more than one-third APAs.

Wong received MA in Law, Georgetown University School of Law; JD, University of Pennsylvania; BA, UC Berkeley. He was senior counsel for SBC Communications since 2001; former law partner of Chan, Doi and Leal from 1999-200; S.F. deputy public defender, 1984-1987; former board member of Asian American Bar Association and Bar Association of S.F.
