Terrance Hanson , 57, Mary Hanson, 55, of Naperville, Jimmy Tsao 34, and Kathrine Tsao, 31 were found slain September 29 in Tsao's residence in Aurora, Illinois. Terrance and Mary were the parents of Katherine. Two of the dead appear to have been shot; the other two were beaten to death, a source said.
Eric C. Hanson, 28, son of Terrance and Mary Hanson, was taken into custody in Wisconsin for questioning. Police won't say he's a suspect in the deaths of his parents, sister and brother-in-law. Hanson has a criminal record.
Tsao run a a Plainfield computer business with his brother. Katherine Tsao, a part-time college student, worked at the business. A friend said Jimmy Tsao didn't get along with his brother-in-law and had banned Eric Hanson from his house.
Jimmy Tsao, a native of Taiwan, met his wife while she was waitressing at Sullivan's, a steak house in downtown Naperville. They had been married for about five years, neighbors said.
