2005 Chinese American Studies Conference will be held at Radisson Miyako Hotel, San Francisco, October 6-9. There will be 50 panels, nine new book talks and 7 screenings of new documentaries or works in progress, among other activities. The conference is part of a series that began 30 years ago, at a time when Asian American studies didn't exist as an established academic subject.
