CASL's 18th Annual Corporate Dinner May 22

The Chinese American Service League (CASL) will host its 18th Annual Corporate Dinner Benefit, on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Chicago, 720 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, from 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Johnathan Choe, Executive Vice President, Retail Banking, Fifth Third Bank, Chicago, will serve as Dinner Chair. The event is also being held in conjunction with the celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. It is expected to attract over 600 leaders from Chicago's business community, and hopes to raise approximately $260,000.

The evening begins with a 5:30 p.m. cocktail reception, and the usual outstanding Silent Auction and Raffle. Traditional Chinese Lion Dancers will open a 6:30 p.m. Dinner Program. Special appearances are scheduled featuring ABC 7 TV anchor/reporter and long-time CASL Advisory Board Chair Linda Yu, as well as Nesita Kwan of NBC 5 Chicago; Nancy Loo of FOX Chicago TV; Joanie Lum of CBS 2 Chicago, and Judy Wang of CLTV News. This year's Awards Ceremony will honor CASL's 2007 Golden Lion recipient, civic philanthropist Larry Rosenzweig.

Event sponsorship is available at the Dragon level of $10,000; Phoenix level of $5,000; and Tiger level of $3,000. Each entitles sponsors to a dinner table of ten, and prominent recognition in the commemorative program. Individual tickets are $350 per seat if purchased separately. Reservations are due by May 1, 2007.
