The Chicago Chapter of the Organization of Chinese Americans and the Chicago Japanese American Citizens League will present An Untold History: Angel Island, by Erika Gee on May 16, 7: 30 p.m., at the Japanese American citizens League, Chicago, Illinois. Erika Gee is director of Education, angel Island Immigration Station Foundation.
From 1910 to 1940, Angel Island Immigration Station was a major port of entry for many immigrants from the Pacific Rim and Central and South America. The event will also show film screening of "Discovering Angel Island."
