American Council of Learned Societies grants for China studies

The American Council of Learned Societies supports two China Studies programs: 1) American Research in the Humanities in China supports five Ph.D. scholars in the humanities to do research in China for up to 12 months. U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible; 2) Chinese Fellowships for Scholarly Development supports eight Chinese scholars in the social sciences and humanities with the MA, Ph.D. or equivalent from Chinese institutions to carry out one semester or one year of research by nomination of a U.S. host scholar.
