Global Alliance for Preserving the History of WW II in Asia will host a press conference to discuss issues regarding victims' rights to file private claims against Japanese government and corporation as a landmark debate is set to take place in Japan's Supreme Court Friday, March 16 at the Ming's Restaurant, 1700 East Embarcadero Road, Palo Alto, California. The Global Alliance will introduce to the media at the press conference the legal expert opinions on the subject matters, including those written by international law experts and a justice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. The Global Alliance will comment on the regressive policy and political moves in grand scale under the new administration of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Japan in recent days and the negative impacts and damages of these changes to the troubling Sino-Japanese relations.
