Janet C. Lu has been selected to receive YWCA Lincoln, Nebraska's 2007 Tribute to Women Award. This award is given each year to Lincoln women who work to follow YWCA's commitment to empower women and eliminate racism (there are 5 winners this year). They are being recognized for their outstanding work in this area. The recipients of this award will be honored at the 27th annual YWCA Tribute to Women luncheon Friday, Oct. 26 . Lu is Professor of Library Information Technology and Head of Public Services, Cochrane-Woods Library, Nebraska Wesleyan University.
