They recognize the exemplary efforts made by the award recipients and convey the Department's deepest appreciation for their hard work devotion and skill."
At the Attorney General's 55th Annual Award Ceremony on October 2, Joanne She was one of the award recipients for her outstanding contributions on the digital project. Previously , she received a "JMD Special Commendation Award" from the Assistant Attorney General for Justice Management Division in 2004, and a "Spot Award" from the Deputy Attorney General" in 2003.
Joanne She has been the Coordinator of the DOJ Legislative History Digitization Project at U.S. Department of Justice Libraries since 2003. She has successfully led the DOJ Digital Project and made it as a leading project in the field. In addition, she also helped the library save a great amount of money for the digital project.
Joanne has previously served as Head of Technical Services at the Maryland State Law Library (1999-2002). She holds two master degrees: Master of Foreign Studies from the American University, and Master of Information and Library Science (focusing on legal information and law libraries) from the Catholic University of America.
