Norman Hsu arrived with an attorney and a supporter, at a San Mateo County Superior Court in Redwood City, Calif., Friday, Aug. 31, 2007. Hsu, a top Democratic fund raiser wanted as a fugitive in California, turned himself in to face a grand theft charge. After reports surfaced this week of Hsu's fugitive status in California, Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. According to The Los Angeles Times (Aug 31, 2007), Norman Hsu, 56, was graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor degree in computer science in 1973 and received a MBA degree from the Wharton School in 1981. Hsu has been active in raising funds for Democratic candidates and described himself as an apparel executive. He is serving as board trustees, the New School and board governor, Eugene Lang College, the New School of Liberal Arts.
