Chinese law firm opens in Silicon Valley

Beijing-based Jun He Law Offices, founded in 1989, opened an office in Palo Alto, its second U.S. outpost.

Jun He hired three lawyers from U.S. firms, according to the American Lawyer. They are intellectual property partners James Zhu and Zhaohui "Zoe" Wang, previously the managing partners of Perkins Coie LLP's Beijing and Shanghai offices; and Steven Cui, a former intellectual property attorney in Jones Day LLP's Beijing office, the newspaper reported.

Jun He, is one of China's largest law firms. The firm has more than 300 attorneys in offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Dalian, Haikou, Hong Kong and New York City.
