China has expressed appreciation over those "positive remarks", made by U.S. President Barack Obama and other officials, relating to Sino-U.S. relations.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang, says China values the reaffirmation by the U.S. on its commitment to China on Taiwan and Tibet-related issues.
